    Product malfunction?

Q: I don't feel any assistance power when riding the electric assist bicycle COOZY. What should I do?

A: If you are not experiencing any assistance power while the power is on and the assist mode is set to Eco, Power, or Boost, please check if there are any error codes displayed on the screen. If E14 is displayed, it indicates a pedaling error, which may have been caused by turning on the power while pedaling. To resolve this, turn off the power, restart the system, and get back on the bicycle.

Q: The remote switch does not respond even when I operate it. What should I do?

A: First, make sure that you have turned on the main switch on the battery box. Once the main switch is on, use the remote to turn on the power.

Check for any loose connections in the cable of the remote (display) located on the handlebar. Most issues can be resolved by reconnecting the terminals. If the display still doesn't turn on, check for any error codes displayed.

If E13 is displayed, it indicates a communication error. Check for any loose connections in the cable and other related issues.

Q: I am having trouble inflating the tires. What should I do?

A: The COOZY uses a Schrader valve, so you can use an air pump that is compatible with Schrader valves. Household air pumps with adapters for Presta and Schrader valves are available, but in some cases, you may be able to use the air pump without attaching the Presta valve adapter.

The Schrader valve has a structure where a plunger (valve core) with a spring controls the opening and closing of the valve. It has high durability and is mainly used for low-pressure applications, with the best air retention compared to Presta (road bike) and French (mountain bike) valves, making it commonly used for small-wheeled bicycles and mountain bikes.

Q: What do the error codes mean?

    Error 1 (E1): Overcurrent

Error 3 (E3): Sensor signal abnormality

Error 5 (E5): Hall sensor error

    Error 13 (E13): Communication error

    Error 14 (E14): Pedaling error

    Regarding Kids bikes

Q: Is it possible to get the kid's bike with a belt drive repaired anywhere if it breaks down?

A: Generally, since the kid's bike with a belt drive has a similar structure to adult bicycles equipped with a belt drive, many bike shops that have experience with such bikes can handle the repairs. However, please be cautious not to overtighten the belt.

    All products

Q: Where can I get repairs and maintenance done?

A: Please consult the store where you made the purchase or visit a nearby authorized dealer. wimo has repair parts available domestically, and we can promptly provide the necessary parts for repairs.

Q: Can I modify the bicycle?

A: The bicycle is equipped with modifications prevention measures as required for certification. The vehicle is designed to prevent easy modifications or changes to the assist output that deviate from the standards, such as modifications to the transmission system. Please be aware that modifying the bicycle from the manufacturer's specifications may void the warranty.

    Q: Is bicycle registration required?

A: Yes, by law, bicycle registration is mandatory for using bicycles. Please register your bicycle at the store where you made the purchase or at a store with a sign indicating "Bicycle Registration Office." The frame number is located at the bottom of the frame (near the BB shell).

Q: I got a flat tire. How should I replace the inner tube?

A: For the electric assist bicycle COOZY, in the case of the front wheel, you will need to disconnect the motor cable before replacing the inner tube. The motor cable terminal is located inside the front fork. To remove the motor cable, press the cable at the top tube while pulling the cable end from the front fork.

For the rear wheel, it is the same as a regular bicycle. After replacing the inner tube, adjust the tension of the belt. If the tension is not at the correct level (especially if it is too high and tight), it may lead to a decrease in assistance power. For the kids' bicycle wimo kids, the process is similar to COOZY (there is no motor cable). For the belt drive, it is recommended to have a looser tension.

Q: I have some questions about usage.

A: Please consult the store where you made the purchase. For customers who purchased from the online store, please use the dedicated online store customer support.

Q: I bought a used item in good condition. Is it covered by the warranty?

A: The warranty from wimo does not apply to used items. Please check if the purchased used store offers any warranty or support for the specific bicycle.
